Okay, so I’ve been wanting a new bag, and I really wanted one of those Fendi Baguette bags. I’ve been seeing them everywhere, and I think they’re so chic and classic. It’s a classic piece, they say. It never goes out of style. Like a good pair of overalls. You know?
But the thing is, those bags are super expensive! I don’t have that kind of cash to drop on a bag, no matter how much I love it. So I started doing some research. The Fendi Zucchino Mama Forever Baguette, it’s like those fancy bread loaves. Apparently, it is designed in 1997 by Silvia Venturini Fendi and has become a staple bag for the Italian luxury brands. I also found that all Fendi bags are made in Italy, which makes sense. The branding always shows up on a metal plaque, the color of the plaque should match the hardware on the bag. I thought that was a cool little detail.
So, I decided to take the plunge. I went to one of these specialty stores. They had a whole bunch of different designer bags, but I had my heart set on the Fendi Brown Zucchino Mama Forever Baguette.

- I checked the stitching.
- I looked at the hardware.
- I even compared it to pictures of the real deal online.
And let me tell you, it was amazing! I could hardly tell that it wasn’t a real Fendi. I was so excited. I ended up getting the bag, and I’ve been using it every day since. And you know what? It makes me feel fabulous. Maybe it is not authentic, but I feel like I’m carrying a little piece of luxury around with me, and that’s all that matters. Some people say it’s a perfect copy. I guess they’re right.
