Okay, so, picture this: I’m walking past a PRADA store one day, and I see this gorgeous bag in the window. It’s the Medium Prada Galleria Saffiano Leather Bag, a total classic. I think to myself, “That is one sharp-looking bag.” Then I see the price tag, and I’m like, “Whoa, that’s way out of my league!”

I do some digging around and finally find some good quality stuff. It’s not cheap, and I learn real quick that it’s a bit of a pain to work with, but I was committed to getting that signature look. I also picked up some strong thread, the right kind of needles, and all the other bits and pieces you need for bag-making, like the buckles and the zipper. I found them all!
Getting Down to Business
I started by cutting the leather. This was the trickiest part because any mistake here and the whole thing would be ruined. I measured, and then I measured again, just to be sure. The cutting took a while, but I got there.

After what felt like forever, I finally finished it. I stood back, looked at what I had made, and I gotta say, I was pretty darn proud of myself. It wasn’t exactly like the one in the store, not a perfect replica, but it was my version of it. And you know what? I loved it.
This whole experience, it wasn’t just about ending up with a nice bag. It was about proving to myself that I could do something I thought was way beyond my abilities. It’s a reminder that sometimes, you just gotta go for it, even if it seems a little crazy. I did it, and I am so proud!
