And another thing, they got all these “tags” on them websites. Stuff like “Brand:Patek Philippe” and “Black”, like we didn’t already know it was a Patek and probably had some black on it somewhere. They think we’re simple, I reckon. Seems like a lot of fancy talk for somethin’ that just tells you the time. Back in my day, a watch was a watch. You wore it to tell time, and that was that. Now they got all these special editions and limited this and exclusive that. It’s enough to make your head spin.
So, if you’re set on gettin’ yourself one of these Patek Philippe watches, be prepared to spend a lot of time and money. And don’t be surprised if you can’t just walk in and buy one. You might have to sweet-talk some dealer or get on some list, or maybe even know somebody who knows somebody. It’s a whole different world, this fancy watch business. Me? I’ll stick with my old trusty clock on the wall. It tells the time just fine, and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg.
But then again, if you got the money and you want the fancy watch, who am I to judge? Just don’t come cryin’ to me when you can’t find one or when it costs you more than your car. I warned ya, it ain’t easy this Remake Patek Philippe Purchase thing.
