So, I finally got my hands on this high imitation Rolex Submariner, the no-date version. Man, it’s been a journey, let me tell you.
First off, I gotta say, I’ve always been a fan of the Submariner. I mean, who isn’t? It’s, like, the ultimate classic watch, right? You see it everywhere, even famous people wear it. But, you know, the real deal is way out of my budget. So, I started looking into these high imitation ones. I heard about them from, like, everyone and saw a ton of ads for them.
Finding the Right One
It wasn’t easy, though. There are so many of these things out there, and a lot of them look, well, pretty bad. I did some digging, watched a bunch of videos, and read a ton of reviews. I even found this one video about how to spot a fake Rolex, talking about the “date bubble” and stuff. This one doesn’t have it. Good sign, I guess. Finally, I found a seller that seemed legit, and I pulled the trigger.
Unboxing and First Impressions
When the package arrived, I was like a kid on Christmas morning. I ripped that thing open, and there it was. It looked pretty darn good, I gotta admit. It’s got that shiny black look, just like the real one. It felt heavy, too, not like some cheap plastic toy.
- The Look: Seriously, it looks just like the pictures of the real Submariner. The black dial, the bezel, everything.
- The Feel: It’s got some weight to it, which is nice. It doesn’t feel cheap at all.
- The Details: I checked for all those little things the authenticator talked about. No date bubble, the markings look right, and the crown logo seems legit.
Wearing It Out
I’ve been wearing it for a few weeks now, and I’m pretty happy with it. I’ve gotten a few compliments, which is always nice. No one’s called me out on it being a fake, so that’s a good sign, I guess. I mean, I’m not trying to fool anyone, but it’s cool to have a watch that looks this good without, you know, breaking the bank.
Of course, it’s not a real Rolex. I know that. But for the price, I think it’s a pretty solid buy. It looks great, it feels good, and it tells the time. What more can you ask for?
This is just my experience, of course. If you’re thinking about getting one of these, do your research. Read reviews, watch videos, and make sure you’re buying from a reputable seller. And remember, it’s not the real deal, but it’s a pretty good stand-in if you’re on a budget like me.
