I found an Omega boutique. Stepping inside was like entering a different world. All those watches, sparkling under the lights. And there it was, the Speedmaster Super Racing. I tried it on, and it felt just right. The 3D dial effects were even cooler in person, classy without being too much, you know? It is legible and not overdone, just how I like it.
Now, here’s the kicker. Because of the tax-free deal, I saved a good chunk of change. I mean, the watch is still expensive, but less so than back home. They can even sell for more money later on. Too bad this Super Racing model got discontinued in 2018, but that makes it even more special, right?
After I bought the watch, I spent a few more days in Dubai, just enjoying the city. I took loads of pictures, saw some cool sights, and ate some great food. It was a blast.
Coming back home, I felt like I had really accomplished something. I got the watch I wanted, saved some money, and had an awesome trip. And every time I look at my wrist, I’ll remember the whole adventure.
